Guy Harles holds a Master degree in law from the Université Robert Schuman de Strasbourg (France), as well as an advanced degree in banking and finance from the same university.

Guy Harles is a founding partner of the firm and presently serves as head of Private Equity. He specialises in corporate work, where he advises on the structuring of international transactions, private equity investments, corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. He frequently serves as an arbitrator.

Prior to joining the Luxembourg Bar he worked in the finance department of Arbed S.A. (now ArcelorMittal), the Luxembourg steel conglomerate. He was president of the Conférence du Jeune Barreau from 1990 to 1991. He served on the Conseil de l'Ordre from 1992 to 1994. He was also the President of AIJA (International Young Lawyers' Association) from 1995 to 1996. He was a reader on businedd law at the Centre Universitaire de Luxembourg, the Faculty of Law (University of Luxembourg) and Université Louis Pasteur (Strasbourg) from 1981 to 2007.

He presently serves as the president of the Luxembourg Association for Arbitration and Euroarbitrage.

He has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 1980 and Paris Bar since 1993.
