Catherine Martougin holds a DEA degree in international law from the Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (France) and a DESS degree in international commercial law from the Université Paris X – Nanterre (France) as well as the diploma from I.E.P. (Sciences-Po), Paris (France).
Fonctions actuelles:
Catherine Martougin is a partner in the Investment Management Practice where she specialises in investment fund work focusing mainly on structuring and organising significant real estate investment funds.
Acting both for major international financial institutions and real estate promoters in setting up real estate investment funds or for the service providers thereof, she has developed a strong legal expertise advising clients on structuring and registration of real estate investment funds in Luxembourg as well as on all matters relating to the activities of such funds including investment management issues, real estate transactions and the financing thereof.

Prior to joining Arendt & Medernach in 2003, she worked for four years in the Paris office of the American law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP.
